Kallan was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I never once felt out of place or uncomfortable, although I came through the door with all the jitters. She literally walks you through every single second of the session as what to do and not to do. Let me tell ya, she’s a live wire. It was perfect. Most importantly though, Kallan shows you your true beauty even when you think think it’s not there. I mean we’re all our own biggest critics. “My boudoir sessions with Kallan have been AMAZING! I originally did a valentine mini session with her for my husband. When I got the pictures back I couldn’t believe it was me. I think I look at the photos more than he does. My second session was to document my pregnancy body. I loved being pregnant, but looking back at those photos make me appreciate what my body did even more. She made me feel so comfortable both times. She is so encouraging throughout the whole shoot. She gave me demonstrations on how to pose and what to do. I do not think of myself as sexy, but when I see the photos she took I see myself in a different light. She’s the hype girl we all need in our corner! I can’t wait to do another shoot to highlight my c-section scar and post baby body. But let me tell you... as soon as I got dressed and walked out, Kallan hyped me up and made me feel so good that all that worry went away! It was easy to be confident with someone like Kallan working the camera. She gives good directions and tips, is your biggest hype girl, and makes you feel so comfortable and confident in your own skin. My boudoir session with Kallan is an experience I will never forget. “I didn’t know what to expect when I first decided to do a boudoir shoot. It was right before my wedding and I actually felt good about my body but still had some insecurities: cellulite, fat knees, tiny boobs... all little things we as women pick at ourselves. Kallan made me feel so comfortable, her vibe is just uplifting and infectious. I can be pretty awkward and I do not know how to pose or look good in photos, but I didn’t feel that in our session. Our conversations were so natural and even though we’re taking photos of me in a pretty vulnerable state, it didn’t feel that way. Kallan coaches you into positions that help elevate your own features and bring them to light. I was shocked when I got photos back, I couldn’t believe my body could look beautiful like that. Boudoirs boost your self confidence even if you want them just for yourself or to show to others. I believe every woman should do them. I don’t even feel bothered to show my friends, who ask about them. I can’t wait to do another one with Kallan soon.”

Kallan is an absolute dream to work with. I know the idea of stripping down to your skivvies and allowing all of your flaws to be exposed is terrifying, but Kallan makes you feel so comfortable that you are able to leave all of those insecurities behind and actually feel confident and have fun doing so. Kallan’s eye for finding the light and beauty in everyone that she shoots is unmatched. If you want to feel completely empowered and like the bad-ass babe that you really are, I urge you to allow Kallan to be your boudoir photographer.

If anyone has been considering doing a shoot with Kallan but is on the fence because you’re too awkward, you’re uncomfortable with your body, or any other number of reasons, DO IT. I walked through the door feeling all of those things and came out feeling sexy, confident, and exhilarated by the unmistakeable freedom that comes with doing something you wouldn’t normally do. It was all Kallan, you guys! She has a magical ability to make everyone around her feel like the most glorious creation ever made. There is no doubt in my mind that I will do another shoot some day. So take my advice: if you want to do this, don't listen to those voices in your head telling you you shouldn't. Take a leap of faith because you are in good hands. You won't regret it.
