Sydney's Boudoir: The Red Loft, Dallas, TX

I first met Sydney three years ago whenever she inquired about having me photograph her husband’s and her anniversary session. Dustin and I drove down to Austin for the shoot and the four of became instant friends. So whenever she inquired about having a boudoir session done I was naturally squealing with excitement and couldn’t wait to get Sydney in front of my lens again! There’s something about returning clients that just keeps getting better and better! It makes sense! The more you build a relationship with someone, the more trust you gain with them which makes everyone more comfortable and confident during the shoot. We both have learned each other’s styles and personalities and that flow helps in pushing creativity which in turn fosters a nice and productive rhythm throughout the session as well.

For Sydney’s boudoir, we met up in Dallas at The Red Loft and were both so ready to start shooting! We looked through a few wardrobe options together and settled on both a bold bodysuit and a sweet, little, dainty set to give her gallery more of a variety. Syd trusted me completely and committed to every prompt I gave her throughout the shooting process. We had so much fun and by the end of it we weren’t ready to leave! UGHH, THE STRUGGLE. We were both thrilled with the final result and I am just so proud of Sydney’s willingness to take such a huge step in embracing who she is: mind, body, and spirit.
